Education certificates

General education continues in grades 5 and 6 in elementary school and in grades 7 through 10 of the integrated secondary school. Certificates at the end of grade 10 are the middle school graduation (der Mittlere Schulabschluss / MSA) and the extended professional training certificate (die erweiterte Berufsbildungsreife / eBBR). The professional training certificate (Berufsbildungsreife / BBR) may be achieved at the end of 9th grade, but also after 10th grade as well. Depending on which certificate is sought, transition is possible to our professional vocational school (Berufsfachschule) or to our sixth form / high school (gymnasiale Oberstufe).

In the sixth form / high school, the general qualifying certificate (allgemeine Hochschulreife) can be achieved after a three year program (Abitur). There is here the unique option of taking the advanced dance course.

The general vocational qualifying certificate (allgemeine Fachhochschulreife) can be achieved after the 12th year of sixth form / high school (gymnasiale Oberstufe) and completed professional instruction.
